2020 CHDO Application for Certification Workshop-Session 2

SC Housing is actively seeking to identify CHDOs that are capable, or can reasonably be expected to become capable, of participating in its HOME activities.  We will be holding three (3) application workshop sessions for nonprofits seeking qualification as a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO). By attending one of these sessions, you will receive training in a small group setting about CHDO requirements and the certification process. 

An annual CHDO Application for Certification is required of all nonprofits that have previously received CHDO funding from SC Housing throughout the duration of the affordability periods of their awarded projects.  Any other nonprofits who would like to be included on SC Housing’s list of entities that meet the general CHDO requirements may submit an application.

Who Should Attend?

The contents of this workshop will be beneficial to:

• Nonprofit organizations previously funded as a CHDO with projects still in their affordability period(s).
• Nonprofit organizations planning to submit applications for funding as a CHDO in the 2020 funding cycle for any SC Housing program.
